Description:
Water softening, as the name suggests, refers to the reduction of water hardness. Water softeners are adopted when the feed water has high hardness to remove calcium and magnesium ions from water.
A water softening system consists of three main components: the ion exchange unit, brine regeneration unit and control unit. Its operating principle is based on ion exchange technology.
